Premier League: Arsenal, Spurs and City aim to capitalise on Leicester's slip-up

Premier League leaders Leicester City's 2-2 home draw against West Brom on Tuesday, 1 March, has left the door open for fellow title contenders Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City to close the gap at the top of the standings.

While Totenham, who lie three points behind Leicester with a better goal difference, will go top of the league if they manage to beat West Ham away from home, both Arsenal and City will have the opportunity of improving their title hopes as well.

Arsenal play Swansea at home, and will look to bounce back from the humiliating 3-2 defeat at the hands of a second-string Manchester United team during the weekend. The Gunners will reach within three points of Leicester if they pick all three points on Wednesday.

On the other hand, recently-crowned League Cup champions Manchester City will take a daunting trip to Anfield to face Liverpool, who will themselves be looking for three points in order to improve their chances of playing in Europe next season.

Meanwhile, fifth-placed Manchester United will host Watford at Old Trafford, while Stoke City will host relegation-threatened Newcastle United at the Britannia.
