Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been given a one-match stadium ban besides being penalized 40,000 pounds after admitting misconduct charge issued by the Football Association.
The FA said in a statement on Monday, 2 November, that Mourinho had admitted a charge of misconduct regarding his language and/or behaviour towards the match officials in or around the dressing room area during half-time of the game against West Ham United last month, resulting in the ban.
Defending champions Chelsea are languishing in 15th in the Premier League points table and as a result of the ban, Mourinho will miss Saturday's game at Stoke City. The London club lost their last league game against Liverpool at home last Saturday, conceding three goals after taking an early lead in the first half.
