'She was part of my journey': Devastated Madhuri Dixit pens heartfelt note on Saroj Khan’s demise

Devastated Madhuri Dixit pens heartfelt note on Saroj Khan’s demise

Bollywood’s veteran choreographer Saroj Khan who gave industry many iconic dancing numbers passed away on 3rd July. She breathed her last at 1:52 am on Friday due to cardiac arrest. Recently, after Akshay Kumar, Remo D’Souza, Kunal Kohli, Madhuri Dixit reacted to this devastating news.

The actress has worked with an ace choreographer for multiple projects and with her guidance, she was popularly known as “dancing diva of Bollywood”. Taking to her Instagram handle she shared heartwarming pics of her with Saroj and captioned it as, “I'm devastated & at an utter loss of words today! Saroj ji was part of my journey since the beginning. She taught me a lot, not just about dance but so much more. There's a rush of memories in my head thinking of this big personal loss. My heartfelt condolences to the family 💔”

Well, indeed Madhuri must have broken down after hearing this sad news as for Saroj she was just like her daughter and they both shared a very warm relationship. Those who don’t know then let us tell you Saroj and Madhuri first met on the sets of Uttar Dakshin wherein Saroj choreographed Madhuri was songs in the film.

However, the pair rose to the fame from Tezaab’s iconic song Ek Do Teen and since then there was no looking back for them and continued to give industry iconic dancing number’s such as Dhak Dhak Karne Laga, Dola Re Dola, Chane Ke Khet Mai, Choli Ke Peeche Kya hai and the list goes on. Their last project together was in 2019’s Kalank, she choreographed Tabaah Hogye featuring Madhuri.
