Washington DC: American singer and actor Madonna recently disclosed new information about her hospitalization, attributing it to a bacterial infection.

Intensive Care Admission and Life-Changing Experience
During a performance in Brooklyn, New York, Madonna shared insights into her June illness, which led to her admission to the intensive care unit for an extended period. She candidly mentioned being in "an induced coma for 48 hours," marking a life-changing ordeal.

Gratitude Towards Support System
Expressing gratitude, Madonna acknowledged her Kabbalah teacher, who played a crucial role during her hospitalization. A video on X captured her stating, "The only voice I heard was his. I heard him say, Squeeze my hand."

Lifesavers in the Audience
Madonna extended appreciation to her friend Shavawn, present in the audience on Saturday, for playing a pivotal role in saving her life. In a heartfelt moment, she shared, "I passed out on my bathroom floor and woke up in the ICU ... She saved my life."

Family Reunion in Crisis
Reflecting on her initial moments after waking from the coma, Madonna humorously noted, "I had to almost die to get all my kids in one room." She acknowledged her six children, including Lourdes, Rocco, David Banda, Mercy James, and twins Estere and Stella.

Manager's Earlier Announcement
Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, had previously revealed in June on Instagram that the singer was recovering in the ICU due to a "serious" bacterial infection. Despite still being under medical care at the time, he expressed optimism about her expected "full recovery."
