UPSC CSE Main Exam 2019: Application form released for Civil Services Main exams; here’s how to apply

Good news for the aspirants who have qualified for UPSC Civil Services Mains exam as UPSC released the Mains exam application form on its official website. Interested aspirants can visit the official websites at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

Candidates who will the application form for the mains exam will only allow to appear for the UPSC Main exam. Therefore, candidates are advised to submit their application form before August 16, 2019.

UPSC allows aspirants to appear for the Civil Services examination only for six times, prelims exam attempt is also included.

Details about Written examination:

Qualified candidates will have to appear for the Main written exam which will be held in September. UPSC CSE Main exam will consist of 9 papers of conventional essay type in the subjects set.

Candidates who would qualify the main exam will be eligible for the final round i.e. interview.

The final rank for the UPSC Civil Services Exam (IAS) will be decided based on the marks obtained in the Mains exam i.e. written and interview).

Details about Interview round:

Candidates have to opt the Indian Language for the written Main exam of Civil Services and also choose either the same Indian language or Hind/English as a medium for the interview respectively.

UPSC Civil Services interview will carry 275 marks with no minimum qualifying marks.

Know how to apply for UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2019:

Candidates will have to visit the official website at upsc.gov.in and click on the link of UPSC CSE Main' notification, where aspirants will fill up form I and II to register themselves for UPSC CSE Main Exam. The registration for UPSC CSE Main can be done till August 16.
