UPSC Admit Card 2018: No hard copy hall ticket for preliminary exam; here’s what you have to do

It is a dream of every second person to get a job in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) but it is not easy to get it. This year more than lakhs of candidates are going to appear for UPSC preliminary exam. Well, candidates who are waiting for their prelims admit card then, here is a information to all the candidates that UPSC will not go to give you a hard copy of admit card. Every candidate will have to download it and carry a printout during the examination which is going to be held on 3rd June 2018.

The Commission announced this information in the list of do’s and don’ts for every UPSC aspirants. UPSC mentioned that it had uploaded the e-admit cards on its official website at www.upsc.gov.in.


Here’s what the official statement of UPSC:

‘Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2018 on 03.06.2018 (Sunday) all over India. The Commission has uploaded the e-Admit Card for the convenience of the admitted candidates on its website (http://www.upsc.gov.in). The candidates are advised to download their e-Admit Cards and take a printout thereof. The admitted candidates will have to produce the printout of their e-Admit Card at the allotted Venue for appearing at the Examination.’

In case, your photo on admit card is not clear then you have to bring a two identical photograph along with an identity proof like Aadhaar card, driving licence, passport or voter ID card. Candidates should not forget their e-admit card with an undertaking that the proof was genuine.

Remember, you have to reach the examination centre on time because if getting late, you won’t be able to appear for the examination.

Well, every student has gird up their loins to crack their UPSC prelims exam. However, only some of the candidates have that luck to clear it in one go only. Some take various attempt to qualify the exam while some get disappointment.
