The government has decided that CBSE Board examination for Classes 10th and 12th will not be held in February.
The final dates for the examination will be announced soon.
"Keeping the COVID-19 pandemic in mind and after various consultations, the Government has decided that board exams will not be held in February," Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said on Tuesday.
Union Education Minister was virtually interacting with teachers across the country on upcoming competitive and board exams.
The Minister said that the government decided after receiving many requests from various students and teachers asking to postpone CBSE board exams for Class 10 and 12.
