UGC NET Exam date and Admit Card 2021: Know when and where to check

UGC NET Exam 2021: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not announced any new update on the UGC NET exam which has been postponed. Candidates are anxious to know the new examination date however no update is uploaded on the official website of NTA UGC NET.

Know when and where to check UGC NET Exam 2021:

UGC NET aspirants are advised to keep their eyes on the official website- ugcnet.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in.

To download the UGC NET Admit Card, candidates will have to enter their credentials (log in id and password) on the official website.

NTA conducts the UGC NET exam twice a year. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, NTA has merged the December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. Earlier, NTA scheduled the examination from October 17 to October 25, which has now been postponed.

On October 9, NTA released a notification about rescheduling the UGC NET exam.

“As per the Public Notice dated 03.09.2021, the National Testing Agency (NTA) had rescheduled the examination dates for UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles, and the revised dates of examination were announced from 17 October to 25 October 2021,” the notice reads.

“Several requests have been received from candidates regarding the clash with some other major examinations. Hence NTA has decided to postpone the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles to subsequent dates which will be announced shortly,” NTA UGC NET notification further said.

According to reports, NTA is expected to release the examination dates before the first week of November. Therefore, candidates who have applied for the UGC NET exam should keep on visiting the official website of NTA UGC NET.

UGC NET exam conducts for the eligibility of Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs) and Assistant Professor.
