UGC NET December Result 2019: Declared! 60,147 candidates qualified December exam; check result at ntanet.nic.in

The National Testing Agency has announced the result of UGC NET December exam 2019 on its official website today. Candidates who have appeared for the National Eligibility Test (NET) which was held in December 2019, can check their UGC NET result.

NTA conducted the UGC NET December 2019 exam through Computer Based Test (CBT) from December 2 to December 6, 2019, across the nation. This year, 10,34,872 candidates registered for the exam and 7,93,813 appeared for the exam. NTA organized the UGC NET December 2019 exam at 700 centers in 219 cities.


Out of the total aspirants who appeared for the exam 60,147 have qualified for the Assistant Professor post and 5092 candidates have qualified for JRF and eligible for Assistant Professor.

Here’s how to check NTA UGC NET December Exam 2019:

1. Visit the official website of UGC NET at ntanet.nic.in
2. Click on the link which says, “View Result/Score Card” shown on the homepage
3. Select any of the options: “Through Application Number and Password” or “Through Application Number and Date of Birth”
4. Enter your credential details like Application number, dob, and password
5. Enter security code
6. Click on Ok
7. Your result will display on the website
8. Download and take a printout of your result

About UGC NET Exam:

On behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor Both, in Indian Universities and Colleges.

The JRF Award Letters/NET E-Certificates for candidates, who have qualified for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) of UGC-NET June 2019 is available now. Candidate can download the E-certificate using Application Number or Roll Number of UGC-NET June 2019 and Date of Birth.
