UGC NET Admit Card 2021: NTA to release hall tickets before Sunday; tips to download

UGC NET Admit Card 2021: Candidates who are waiting for their UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles exams admit card should keep their eyes on the official website. NTA will conduct the UGC NET exams from October 17 onwards.

Candidates who had successfully submitted their application form will be able to download the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles exams admit cards issued by the national testing agency (NTA).


As per reports, NTA is expected to release the admit card on or before October 10. However, the official announcement on admit card released date is yet to be uploaded on the official website.

Therefore, candidates who are going to appear for UGC NET 2021 should check the official websites—nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Due to the sudden rise in coronavirus cases in India, NTA has merged the UGC NET, December 2020, and June 2021 sessions, together.

On the day of the examination, candidates do not forget to carry their UGC NET hall tickets with a self-declaration form. Also, candidates should carry a ballpoint pen, passport size photograph, hand sanitizer, transparent water bottle, and govt id proof- Aadhaar Card, voter id, passport, driving license, etc.

Steps to download NTA UGC NET Admit Card 2021:

  1. Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on the important links section
  3. Click on the link that says, “E-Certificate UGC NET December 2020/June 2021”
  4. Submit your credentials asked on the page
  5. Click on Submit option
  6. Your admit card will appear on the page
  7. Download the PDF of the admit card
  8. Take a printout for further purpose

After downloading the UGC NET Hall Ticket 2021, candidates are advised to check the following details available in the call letter:

  • Name of Candidate
  • Father’s Name
  • Center Name
  • Center Code
  • Roll Number
  • Category
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • Subject of the Exam
  • Date & Time for the examination
  • Important Instructions
  • Authorized Signatory (Secretary/Director)
  • Candidate’s Address
  • Photograph & Signature
  • Application Number

Earlier on October 1, NTA released a notification on the postponement of the UGC NET exam on its official website.

“Representations are being received from candidates seeking further rescheduling of the dates of the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles, on account of difficulties being experienced by them due to clashes with some major examinations on 06th and 07th October 2021,” the NTA had said.

As per the new schedule, the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 examinations will be conducted from October 17 to October 25.
