Job opening for Junior Associate post

India's multinational bank State Bank of India (SBI) has already released the notification for the Junior Associates for its customer support and sales division post. The online registration process has been started from 20 January 2018.

SBI has open-up the gate for the job seekers on Junior Associate post. According to the official notification, the recruitment will be at large number i.e. 9633 vacancies are available for the candidates. Job aspirants who want to apply for this post may check the official website for the further details. Although the submission of online forms will be available till 10 February 2018. So, all the interested candidates have to apply for the job as soon as possible otherwise they will lose the opportunity.

The preliminary examination will tentatively conduct in the month of March or April while the mains examination will be conducted tentatively on 12 May 2018.

As per the SBI notification, 'Applications are invited from Indian Citizens only for the Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in State Bank of India. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only'. According to the reports, this is the largest SBI recruitment since 2013.

According to the SBI notification, candidates have only single chance to appear for the test only. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State.

It also notified that test for knowledge of specified opted local language would be conducted as a part of selection process. The specific exam will be conducted only after qualifying the mains exam but before joining the bank. It is mandatory for each and every candidate the test otherwise appointment letter will not be offered by the Bank.

Candidates must qualify the 10th and 12th standard from a recognised board, if he/she have studied the specified opted local language, will not be required to undergo the language test.

The application fees for general category is Rs 600, while for reserved category is Rs 100. The interested candidates need to possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university/institute before applying for the job. Age limit for the job should be above 20 years and below 28 years.
