NEET PG 2018: Good news! Registration for first round of counselling extended; apply before the last date

Candidates who have applied for the NEET-PG examination this year and waiting for their counselling, we are having a new for you. As Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced that the first round counselling registration process is extended now.

So, candidates, you can register yourself for seeking admission to postgraduate and medical dental till the evening of 26 March 2018. All the interested candidates may check the official website of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance.


However, the examination for the same was held in January and the results were declared in the month of February. As previous information, the registration process was going to close on 24 March at 5 pm.

Health Ministry Official said that the date has extended due to some technical issue with the software, students unable to choose colleges and courses that they want to opt. Therefore, Ministry has decided to extend the date.

This time, MCC will conduct the counselling for 50% all India quota seats for all State Government medical/dental colleges/ institutes, except the state of Jammu and Kashmir according to the merit of PG NEET 2018. The same rules will be followed for the Deemed Universities.

There are also a counselling will be conduct for the 50% quota for the institutional seats like Central Universities of Delhi, Aligarh Muslim University and Banaras Hindu University and also for the institutes of Armed Forces Medical Services.
