MHT CET 2022 exam to be held again for these candidates, know why

The CET Cell, Maharashtra has issued a notification for the re-examination of the MHT CET 2022 exam.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has issued a notification for the re-examination of the MHT CET 2022 exam. As per the official notification, candidates who could not complete the examination due to technical issues at some centres can apply for a re-examination.

The MHT CET 2022 exam will also be held for candidates who could not appear in the exam due to heavy rains in select districts. The MHT CET 2022 exam for PCM and PCB streams was held from August 5 to 20, 2022.


The CET Cell has noted that candidates, at some exam centres, faced multiple technical issues like server issues, multiple logouts and one or more interruptions shutdowns during the MHT CET 2022 exam. 

“All those candidates who had one or more interruptions shutdowns and log outs and who could not complete all the questions due to Technical and Server issues and got less time for their examination will get the opportunity to appear for the retest as per the venue and the schedule declared by CET CELL,” said the notification. 

The exam conducting boy further informed in the notification that candidates of Bhandara, Gadchiroli, and Gondia districts of Maharashtra who missed their exam due to the heavy rain on August 10,11,12 and 20 can apply for a re-exam. 

Candidates should note that there is no fee for the re-examination. They can apply for re-exam only on August 22 and August 23, 2022. The admit card for the same will be generated online. If a candidate applies for the re-examination then his/her first attempt will be nullified and not considered for scoring.

“In case you agree to the above Terms and opt for the Re-Examination, you will not be eligible for any legal course of action against State CET Cell, Mumbai (If Any) in future,” an official statement said.
