IIM Indore to conduct Central India's first ever Startup Expo

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore will conduct the first ever Start-up Expo of Central India, iExpo, on 22 January, 2017. The expo will witness the presence of over 25 startups, 15 investment partners and 20 mentors. The event is expecting a participation of more than 3000 students, professors and corporate officials.

The iExpo constitutes of four minute Auditorium Presentations by the start-ups to the investors and a day long Start-up Showcase. It aims to create a networking platform and encourage interaction between startups, investors and students. Startups from all over India spanning across various sectors such as Drones, Data Analytics, Marketing, Logistics, Careers, Food, Education etc. will be showcase their products and services.

iExpo Investment Partners include Reddy Futures, ah!Ventures, GSK Ventures, Venture Catalysts, Z Nation Labs, Swan Angel Network, White Unicorn Ventures.

Linkites, FMPCCI and Incubation Centers, StartupEd, Incuspaze etc will be joining as mentors. The startups can participate in several competitions such as KHOJ, Startup Awards by the Madhya Pradesh government, Ivy Camp Affiliates, etc.

Avenues like Mentoring Zone, Partnership Lounges will guide the startups.

"It provides an opportunity to avail assistance through Internships and Live Projects. There is an exposure to the Start-up Industry, a dais for Idea Storming with Real-time Interaction and a plethora of entrepreneurial opportunities for students," said a spokesperson from the IIM Indore.
