IIM Indore bags AMBA accreditation

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has bagged its first international accreditation from the UK-based accreditation agency Association of MBAs (AMBA).

The accreditation has been granted to four full-time programmes, namely:

  • Two Year Post Graduate Programme in Management - Indore
  • Two Year Post Graduate Programme in Management - Mumbai
  • One Year Full Time Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP)
  • Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM, 4th and 5th Year)

Indore is now the fourth IIM in the country to receive the AMBA accreditation after IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow and IIM Kozhikode.

"One of our key objectives is to maintain world class academic standards and international accreditation is an important affirmation of this achievement," said IIM Indore Director Professor Rishikesha T Krishnan.

Apart from IIMs, other Indian B-Schools to get the international accreditation are: International Management Institute (IMI), Management Development Institute, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, XLRI- Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, Alliance University Bangalore and SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies- Bengaluru.
