GATE Answer Key 2022 Released: Here’s how to raise objection on provisional answer key

GATE Answer Key: IIT Kharagpur has released the provisional answer key of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 on its official website. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can download the answer key of GATE 2022 at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

The provisional answer keys have been uploaded subject-wise in the form of PDF files. Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key 2022 can raise objections from February 22 to February 25, 2022.


The fee for challenging the answer key is Rs 500 for each question.

Know how to challenge IIT Kharagpur GATE Answer Key 2022:

  1. Visit the official website of GOAPS- appsgate.iitb.ac.in
  2. Click on the answer key objection link
  3. Enter your credentials asked on the page like ID and password
  4. Select the “Contest Answer Key” option
  5. Make online fee payment of Rs 500
  6. After making fee payment, candidates need to enter the question number which he or she wants to challenge.
  7. Candidates also need to submit the justification for challenging the question with a maximum of 500 characters

GATE 2022 exams were held on February 5, 6, 12, and 13 at various exam centres across the country. The exam was conducted for 29 subjects.

IIT Kharagpur will declare the GATE 2022 result on March 17, 2022. Candidates who will qualify the exam can download their scorecard by 21st March 2022 from the official portal.
Candidates do note that GATE 2022 scores will remain valid for 3 years.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is held for admissions to MTech courses in IITs, IISc, and other premium institutes. GATE scores are also considered to offer jobs in PSUs.
