GATE 2022 Admit Card: Download hall tickets for entrance exam; check these important points

GATE 2022: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur is expected to release the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) admit card on its official website. Candidates who have applied for the GATE exam 2022 will have to keep their eyes on the official website to download the e-hall tickets from gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

GATE exam will be held between February 5 to February 13, 2022, in two shifts—the first shift will begin from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm. While the second shift of the exam will be held from 02:30 pm and 05:30 pm.


IIT Kharagpur is conducting the examination for those who want to take admission to PG courses and the entrance examination for government jobs.

Once the admit card is released, candidates can download their GATE exam hall tickets 2022 in the following way:

1. Visit the official website- gate.iitkgp.ac.in
2. Click on the link that shows “GATE 2022 admit card”
3. Submit your credentials asked on the page
4. Your admit card will appear on the page
5. Download the GATE 2022 admit card
6. Take a printout for exam purpose

GATE 2022: Exam Pattern

GATE exam will be based on objective type with three other patterns of questions-- multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. This year, IIT Kharagpur will conduct the GATE 2022 exam via online mode i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT).

COVID-19 guidelines for GATE aspirants:

According to the official notification, “The health and safety of our examination participants are of utmost priority. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, all dates mentioned on this website may change. In rare cases, the GATE 2022 examination may be postponed or cancelled due to situations beyond control. All the candidates are advised to get vaccinated for Covid-19.”
