DU Admissions 2022: Delhi University to release vacant seats list tomorrow; important details here

The Delhi University will release the vacant seats list (if any) tomorrow, October 26 on its official website. Students also note that the window to change arrange preferences will also be open from tomorrow onwards.

According to recent notification, students who fail to submit their admission fees by the deadline of October 25 will not be able to participate in any CSAS rounds. Students who have submitted the fee of round 1 will be given option of ‘upgrade’.


Students applying from non-general categories should be aware that in round 1 of the Common Seat Allocation System, seat allocations for those students whose category certificates were missing has been rejected.

“All such candidates shall be considered in the unreserved category in CSAS round 2 subject to availability of seats in the unserved category and other allocation policies stated in the University of Delhi’s CSAS document subject to meeting the merit of the UR category and preference order submitted by the candidate,” said the official notification.

Meanwhile, more than 54,000 students have confirmed their admissions in the Delhi University for academic session 2022-23. The schedule of the same will start in November. As of Monday evening, the varsity has approved 54,162 applications of students, who have paid their fee.

The updated figure is a result for extension of the deadline of fee payment. The University gave the extension considering students’ requests due to ongoing festival season.
