CBSE Term-1 Board Exam 2021: ALERT! Fake date sheet for Class 10th, 12th exams goes viral; check official update

CBSE Term 1 Board Exam 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the term 1 board examinations for Classes 10th, 12th this year. Ahead of the exams, a fake board exams date sheet is doing the round on social media. Therefore, candidates are advised not to circulate the fake exam schedule.

CBSE officials have also warned students about the fake date sheet PDF shared on WhatsApp. While talking to a news portal, a CBSE official confirmed, “The date sheet is not released by the board”.


As per reports, the official schedule for the CBSE Class 10th and class 12th term 1 exam will be released today (October 18) at cbse.gov.in. As per the new education policy, CBSE has bifurcated the academic session into two terms—Term 1 & Term 2.

The first-term board exam will be held via offline mode in November-December, while the second-term exam will be held between March and April 2022. CBSE has already released the sample papers 2020-21 for both classes 10, 12 on its official website- cbse.gov.in.

The term I exam will be an objective-type question while the duration of the tests will be of 90 minutes. Board will start the examination at 11:30 am. On the other hand, the second-term exam will either be an objective or subjective-type exam, however, it would depend on the COVID-19 situation in the country.
