CBSE Paper Leak: The students have nothing to worry about the exam, says CBSE Chairperson

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) going to announce the dates for re-examination before this month ends, HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said on 29 March. However, the dates have yet not finalized by the Board. CBSE Class 10th and Class 12th students are not happy with the decision as they have to re-appear for their examination, which made them do protest against the Board.

However, Delhi Police has already started doing the investigation to find the guilty. On 29 March, Police have traced the coaching centre in West Delhi and arrested the owner of coaching named as Vicky. Police have been questioned by 20 people, including students.


On the CBSE paper leak issue, the CBSE Chairperson Anita Karwal has broken the silence and said that the dates for the re-examination would be announced soon. The decision that they had taken is in the favour of the students. Chairperson also said that they are working for the good of the students. Whereas, she didn’t break her silence on Class 10th Maths paper leaked copies that they had received before a day of the exam but would not take any action.

CBSE has made the students shocked after sharing the news about the re-examination on the official website.

"The board has taken cognizance of certain happenings in the conduct of certain examinations as are being reported. With the view to uphold the sanctity of the Board Examinations and in the interest of the fairness to the students, the Board has decided to reconduct the examinations in the following subjects. Dates for fresh examinations and the other details shall be hosted on the CBSE website within a week."
