CBSE Paper leak: Here’s why Shashi Tharoor doesn’t want Class 12th Economics exam to happen again

CBSE paper leak has become the burning topic of the nation as Class 10th and Class 12th papers were leak due to which all the students and parents made protest across the country. However, CBSE will not go to conduct the Class X Mathematics examination whereas for Class 12th Economics re-examination will be conducted on 25th April.

Recently, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor also come to support the CBSE students by urging to HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar to exempt the Class 12 students from the Economics re-exam.

Tharoor has sent the letter to Prakash Javadekar. He wrote that class 12 students had already in the process of preparing the examinations due to which they are in under pressure and anxiety.

Therefore, students should be free from giving the examination again. Shashi letter reads, ‘I would request you to kindly consider a similar exemption of Class 12 students from the re-examination of the Economics paper on compassionate grounds.’

Shashi Tharoor also added that due to some miscreants other innocent students also suffered for it and if such things occur then it’s the duty of the government to ensure that remedial steps should be taken earlier.

He also added that many of the students have already prepared for their competitive examination like NEET and other engineering entrance exams which is going to held in the month of April.

Congress leader also urged to HRD that lakhs of students across the country would be stressed. He said ‘, I would be grateful if you could give this request your most urgent and sympathetic consideration.’
