CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam Result 2022: Term 1 result to be announced soon; know when and where to check

The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE is yet to announce its Class 10th and Class 12th board 2022 Term 1 examination result on its official website. Candidates who have appeared for the CBSE Board Term-1 exam should keep their eyes on the official website as the result would be declared soon.

After the New Education Policy, this is the first time when CBSE has conducted the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board term 1 exam in OMR sheets mode. Board students had appeared for objective-type questions for the first time. All the questions carried equal marks and the exam was comprised of a total of 40 marks.


As per reports, CBSE is expected to release the Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2022 term 1 exam in January. However, an official announcement is yet to be uploaded on the official website of CBSE.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2022 term 1: Exam Pattern

The Central Board of Secondary Education has conducted the MCQ-based examination that included case-based MCQs and MCQs on the assertion-reasoning type. The exam duration was 90-minutes and the term 1 exam covered 50 percent of the rationalized syllabus.

Earlier, CBSE had stated that it will not announce term 1 result as pass or fail or essential repeat. Board will directly announce the result after the completion of the term 2 board exams.

Once your board result is announced, candidates will be able to check it on the official websites--cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE Class 10th, 12th students can also check their Board exam results on DigiLocker app and the website – digilocker.gov.in. Another way to check the result is via SMS or board students can also check their results on the UMANG app.
