Bihar Board Class 10th Result 2020 Declared: Himanshu Raj tops with 481 marks; 80.59% clear matric exam

Bihar Board 10th exam result declared now. This year, Himanshu Raj has topped the exam with 481 marks out of 500 and scored 96.20 percentage in the class 10th exam.

According to the reports of Indian Express, the overall passing percentage has touched 80.59. Reportedly, there is a minor dip in the passing percentage in comparison to last year's passing percentage which was recorded at 80.73.

This year, around 15.29 lakh students had appeared for the exam and out of the total only 12.04 lakh students cleared the Bihar Board class 10th examination.

A total of 6,13,485 male students have qualified the exam while 5,90,545 candidates have cleared the examination.

Also, around 4.03 students have obtained the first division in the exam. As many as 5.24 lakh candidates have got second division while 2.5 have qualified the exam with third division.

Over 2.8 lakh students failed to clear their class 10th examination.

Earlier, Bihar Board chairman Anand Kishor announced that the result will be declared by the Education Minister Shri Krishnanandan Prasad Verma.

The result has been uploaded on the official website of the Bihar Board at bsebonline.in and biharboardonline.com.

This year, the Bihar Board class 10th examination was held from February 17 to 24, 2020. However, the result got delayed due to the coronavirus lockdown across the nation.
