AP Inter Exam 2022: Exam postponed due to cyclone Asani; check out new schedule

AP Inter Exam 2022: In the wake of cyclone Asani, the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh has postponed the AP Inter Exam 2022 which was scheduled to be conducted on May 11.

Therefore, students who were supposed to appear for the exam today will have to wait for a few more days.


As per media reports, the AP Inter exam will now be conducted on May 25, 2022. However, the official confirmation is yet to be made on the official website. Therefore, candidates are advised to visit the official website only at bie.ap.gov.in.

As per the official notice, “rest of the examination schedule from 12.05.2022 remains unchanged. The exam centre venue and exam timings remain unchanged.”

While the AP Inter first year exam will be held as per schedule, i.e. on May 23, 2022. The exam will begin at 09:00 – 12:00 noon.

According to a PTI report, “The cyclone, which was moving at 5 kmph in the morning, gained speed to 25 kmph later in the day, as it lay centered around 210 km south-southeast of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh and 530 km south-southwest of Gopalpur in Odisha, according to the latest bulletin issued at 4.30 PM.”
