Speed News Desk | Updated on: 14 June 2016, 16:45 IST

The Delhi Police filed an FIR against a diplomat from Vietnam on charges of rash and negligent driving on 14 June.

The diplomat was reportedly booked for an accident near South campus on 13 June. One person was reportedly injured in the incident. The FIR was filed under Section 279 of the Indian Penal Code - rash driving or riding on a public way.

Since the diplomat falls under international convention, a report will be submitted to Ministry of Home Affairs. The report will be later handed over to the Ministry of External Affairs.

This comes just a day after a speeding car killed at least two persons and injured one in Delhi's Janakpuri.
