Somnath Bharti arrested for assaulting AIIMS guards; 2nd AAP leader to be held in 48 hours

A day after AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan was arrested in connection with a sexual harassment, AAP leader Somnath Bharti was arrested on 22 September for allegedly assaulting AIIMS' security guards.
According to reports, Somnath Bharti had visited the AIIMS hospital on 6 September. During the visit, he allegedly had an altercation with the security guards. An FIR was registered against the AAP leader in the Hauz Khas police station.
The hospital's guards claimed that Bharti and his supporters beat up the security personnel after they asked him to leave, Hindustan Times reported.
Somnath Bharti is AAP's MLA from Delhi's Malviya Nagar.
