Three people were left injured after a speeding BMW car rammed into them in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on 16 April. The person behind the wheel reportedly ran away from the accident spot, leaving his car behind.

According to Ravi Sharma, a local resident, the BMW hit the people while they were standing near a pan shop.

"The driver of my car, Raja, has also sustained injuries on his leg. At least four people have been injured, out of whom one of them is critically injured and is in the ICU of Prakash Hospital," he told ANI.

Saturday's mishap comes 12 days after 32-year-old marketing executive Siddharth Sharma was killed while crossing a road near Ludlow Castle School in Civil Lines by a speeding Mercedes car driven by a minor.
