Seriously? Hindu Sena's hawan for Donald Trump's victory in US Prez election
Members of the Nationalist Hindu Sena, on 11 May, organised a hawan in the National Capital and prayed for Donald Trump's win in the US Presidential election.
Supporting Trump's stand on temporarily banning Muslims from America, the Hindu Sena stated that he was the hope for humanity.
Business Standard quoted the founder of the Hindu Sena group, Vishnu Gupta, as saying, "The whole world is screaming against Islamic terrorism, and even India is not safe from it."
He added, "Only Donald Trump can save humanity."
The members of the group offered seeds, grass and ghee into the ritual fire that was encircled by pictures and statues of Hindu deities, including Hanuman and Lord Shiva. And amongst them, were pictures of Donald Trump.
The Hindu Sena also hung a banner supporting Trump, that said 'because he is hope for humanity against Islamic terror.'
