The Delhi Police Commissioner, BS Bassi has responded to the allegations made by former Delhi law minister and AAP leader, Somnath Bharti, on 16 September.
Commissioner Bassi said he was surprised by Bharti's comments and asserted that the Police have handled the case without any bias. As per media reports, he added that Bharti should learn to respect women instead of casting aspersions on the police
Im surprised that Somnath Bharti is casting such accusations on Delhi Police, like we are the ones who brought about the case: BS Bassi
