Delhi: 3-year-old sexually assaulted by minor in Mongolpuri

A three-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by her 10-year-old neighbour at a slum in outer Delhi's Mongolpuri area on 3 June, police said.

The police said that the minor girl had complained of pain in her private parts.

The girl's mother then approached police and alleged that the neighbour's boy had inserted some object on her private part, a senior official said.

While the girl was sent for a medical examination and counselling, the boy was apprehended from his home and sent to a juvenile home, the official said.
