Yasir Shah shines with 10-wicket haul at Lord's as Pakistan pips England to end 20-year drought

In the first time in 20 years, Pakistan registered a 75-run victory over England in the four-match Test series at Lord's.

Pakistan wrapped up the match within four days to score 1-0 in the series, thanks to leg spinner Yasir Shah. Pakistan resumed their innings at 214/8 and added only a single run before giving a target of 283 to the hosts. Rahat Ali sent the top-order back to pavilion inside the first 15 overs.

According to reports, Yasir Shah toppled the middle order by striking thrice and stalled England's push for the win. The three wickets added to Shah's six wickets in the first innings.

Bairstow and Woakes fought hard but Yasir Shah turned the tide in Pakistan's favour by ending Bairstow's resistance of three hours.

Looking to end the match, Mohammad Amir castled Stuart Broad with a straight delivery and England was bundled out for a total of 207.

Yasir Shah clearly was the star of the match with figures of 6/72 in the first innings and 4/69 in the second innings.

Yasir Shah's return of 10 for 141, including Sunday's second-innings figures of four for 69, was pivotal to Pakistan's 75-run win over England in the first of a four-Test series at Lord's.

This is Pakistan's fourth-ever win at Lord's. The last win was in 1996 and before that they won in 1982 and 1992.
