As of now, team India has qualified for the World Cup semi-finals after defeating Bangladesh by 28 runs on Tuesday.

Therefore, supporters and fans like Charulata are expecting that India will once again repeat the history by lifting the 2019 World Cup trophy.

Charulata has also won the hearts of social media users for her spirit and ofcourse, she has become an inspiration for others. Now, the 87-year-old elderly fan has become a known face for everyone.

Business tycoon Anand Mahindra considered the 87-year-old fan as 'lady luck' for the team. Hence, he has offered to sponsor World Cup tickets for an elderly Indian fan.

In a Twitter thread, when a user asked Mahindra that why don't you sponsor her then he replied, "I promise I will reimburse her ticket costs for the rest of the India matches."

During an interview to ANI, Patel also said that she has been watching Cricket since 1983 World Cup.

She also added that when India lifted the World Cup trophy under the captaincy of Kapil Dev in 1983, she was there.

"India will win the world cup I am sure. I pray to Lord Ganesha that India wins. I bless the team always. When Kapil paaji won the World Cup in 1983, I was there as well," she was quoted as saying by ANI.
