Watch: Rohit Sharma abuses Cheteshwar Pujara after failing to take single
Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma is displaying brilliant form with the bat in the ongoing Test against South Africa. After he was given an opportunity to open the innings, he did not let the chance go by as he knocked an impressive 176 in the first innings.
This knock was very important for Rohit Sharma because India is trying him out as an opener for the first time in the longest format of the game. In the second innings, Rohit maintained his form and scored runs very quickly.
As the match progressed, Rohit Sharma who was batting at 45, nearly gave away his wicket through runout after he came down the pitch to take a single of Keshav Maharaj’s over.

Rohit Sharma was quite confident of a single but his partner Cheteshwar Pujara did not respond to him which irked Rohit Sharma to the core.
Pujara is not a quick runner between the wickets and he was not confident to take that single after which Rohit Sharma ended up abusing him. Rohit had called for a single but there was lack of understanding between them.
“Pujji bhaag b******d, mai pohonch jaunga waha (Run Pujara, I will reach your end),” Rohit said.
