Indian skipper Virat Kohli leads the national side by example on various occasions and receives commendation from not only his teammates but from the opposition players as well. The Indian run machine mesmerised social media once again after a clip of Bangladesh bowler Ebadot Hossain applauding Kholi’s well-timed shot went viral on Twitter.

The episode took place during the first day of the historic second Test, the first ever day-night Test for india and Bangladesh at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens on Friday.

Following Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara’s dismissal, Ebadot Hossain was seen applauding for the Indian skipper after being hit for a boundary on the fourth ball of the 17th over.

Virat Kohli timed the shot with the middle of his bat to excite the spectators in Eden Gardens with a classic cover drive.

Apart from the crowd, Ebadot too couldn’t withstand applauding the Indian skipper. Virat Kohli was not out on 59 at the end of day 1 with Ajinkya Rahane unbeaten on 23 as India got to 174 for 3, leading the visitors by 68 runs.

Earlier, Al-Amin Hossain gave Bangladesh an untimely headway with the wicket of in-form Mayank Agarwal in the fifth over.

Ishant Sharma went on to become the first Indian to pick up a five wicket haul in pink ball cricket to help the hosts bundle out Bangladesh for just 106 in 30.3 overs.

Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami shared five wickets among them in India’s first ever day-night Test cricket. Opener Shadman Islam was the highest run getter for the visitors with 29 runs.
