Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma all set to welcome new member in family

Best wishes are in order for Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma! The power couple is looking forward to it first child in January 2021. Anushka made the announcement of her pregnancy through an Instagram post, in which she is seen showing off her baby bump as she stands next to Virat. “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021,” she captioned.

 

Many of Anushka Sharma’s colleagues from the film industry gave their good wishes to her. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Dia Mirza left heart emojis in the comments section. “Congratsss stunners,” Parineeti Chopra penned.


Taapsee Pannu, Sanya Malhotra, Kiara Advani and Pooja Hegde also congratulated the couple. People from the sports fraternity, which included KL Rahul and Sania Mirza, also wished her.

After dating for many years, Virat and Anushka got married in a low-key ceremony in Italy in December 2017. During an Instagram live with football star Sunil Chhetri, The Indian skipper admitted that he never formally proposed to her.

“What Anushka said is completely true, we never felt like we needed to do that, we knew that we were going to marry each other, there were no doubts about it ever. So once we knew that everything is going smooth, we were super excited to start our life together. And organically things went on,” he said.

Not long ago, Virat Kohli and Anushka played quiz which was shared on Instagram to test each other’s knowledge about their respective professions. They also answered questions about how well they know one other.

Regarding their work, Anushka Sharma was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero and has not yet signed her next project. However, she has had her hands full with her production ventures, including the recently released Amazon Prime Video series Paatal Lok and Netflix film Bulbbul.
