Chennai Super Kings bowling attack demolished Kolkata Knight Riders’ top-order as they were four wickets down inside the first power-play. CSK’s opening bowler Deepak Chahar started the demolition in the first over itself when he dismissed Chris Lynn for a golden duck.

MS Dhoni called in Harbhajan Singh to deliver the second over and he didn’t disappoint the skipper as he picked up Sunil Narine for 5-ball 6. Robin Uthappa was sent back for 11 runs after Deepak Chahar dismissed him in the 5th over.

Nitish Rana was another batsman to go for a golden duck as he was dismissed by Deepak Chahar. Shubman Gill became victim of MS Dhoni’s stumping off Imran Tahir’s ball. Piyush Chawla went back for just 8 runs as he was stumped by Dhoni again off Harbhajan’s ball. Kuldeep Yadav became an unfortunate victim of a run-out in the 16th over.

Prasidh Krishna went for a golden duck as he was picked up by Ravindra Jadeja. Andre Russell was the lone man standing for KKR as wickets kept falling at the other end. Russell remained unbeated as he scored a fantastic half-century under pressure.

Deepak Chahar picked up three wickets for CSK, while Harbhajan Singh and Imran Tahir scalped two wickets each. Ravindra Jadeja picked up one wicket to his name.
