Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi who time and again finds himself in controversy has got himself into another one. After making controversial remarks against Kashmir and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Pakistani cricketer invited the outrage of Indian cricketers, who slammed the former all-rounder for his statement. Indian cricketer Suresh Raina took to his official twitter handle to attack Afridi for his comments.

“Gosh! What all a person must do to remain relevant! Even more so for a nation that is living on alms. So, better do something for your failed nation and leave #Kashmir alone. I am a proud Kashmiri and it is and will always remain an inalienable part of India. Jai Hind!” Raina tweeted.

Former Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh, who had earlier supported Shahid Afridi Foundation, have now regretted doing so. As soon as Afridi made his statement both Yuvraj and Harbhajan stated that the two will never again support any of Afridi’s initiatives.

Lashing out at Afridi for his comment, Harbhajan Singh stated that he will never help Afridi again as he keep making anti-India comments.

"It was Afridi who requested me and Yuvi to do a video in support of his foundation as spread of pandemic doesn't see religion or borders. But then he would time and again make anti-India comments," Harbhajan told on Sunday.

"I feel terrible that I even called him a friend. He is not a worthy human being who can be called a friend. I am done with calling Afridi a friend," he added.

Yuvraj Singh, who had also helped Afridi's foundation, repeated Harbhajan's views.

"Really disappointed by @SAfridiOfficial's comments on our Hon'b PM @narendramodi ji. As a responsible Indian who has played for the country, I will never accept such words. I made an appeal on your behest for the sake of humanity. But never again," Yuvraj said.
