Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina have reacted to news of youngster Rishabh Pant testing positive of the coronavirus in England.

As maintained by a report in PTI, the 23-year-old keeper batsman won’t be travelling to Durham where the team India members are slated to muster ahead of the five-match Test series against England.

The report mention a BCCI source who has validated that Rishabh Pant tested positive for the virus and has been in isolation for eight days. Furthermore the report added that Pant is asymptomatic as of now.

In their respective tweets, both Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh wished the youngster a speedy recovery.

"Get well soon champion @RishabhPant17," Harbhajan Singh wrote on Twitter.

Raina wrote: "Get well soon brother @RishabhPant17. Wish you a speedy recovery."

The players were on a two weeks break following the conclusion of the World Test Championship final against the Black Cap. In which the men in blue suffered a defeat last month.

Not long ago, BCCI vice president Rajiv Shukla had also verified the development that one of 23 players in the squad tested COVID positive and has been sent in isolation.

“Yes, one player has tested positive but he has been in isolation for the last eight days. He was not staying in any hotel with the team, so no other player has been affected. But I can't divulge the name of the player,” Rajiv Shukla told PTI on Thursday.
