The 18 of July could prove to be a historical day for Indian cricket.
The Supreme Court is likely to pronounce its judgment on the Lodha Committee recommendations by the BCCI at 2pm.
The two-judge bench, comprising Chief Justice TS Thakur and Justice Ibrahim Kalifullah, will deliver its final order on the recommendations made in the Lodha panel report on 18 July.
"Once the BCCI is reformed it will go down the line and all cricket associations will have to reform themselves if they want to associate with it. The committee constituted in the wake of match-fixing and spot-fixing allegations was a serious exercise and not a futile exercise," NDTV quoted the two-judge bench as saying.
On 30 June, the apex court reserved its order on the plea by the BCCI - the recommendations that are likely to overhaul the manner in which cricket is administered in the country. The recommendations are aimed at reforming the administration of the BCCI and its affiliated units.
The three-member panel, led by Justice Lodha was constituted by the Supreme Court in January 2015.
