SRH vs KKR, IPL 2018: Kane Williamson orange army crushes Dinesh Karthik's 'Riders' by 5 wickets; here's the complete scoreboard

The 9th match of IPL's 11th season was between Dinesh Karthik's Kolkata Knight Riders and Kane Williamson's Sunrisers Hyderabad in which the orange army defeated the Knight Riders by 4 wickets. KKR that went to bat first after losing the toss, set the target of 139 runs for Sun Risers Hyderabad. Billy Stanlake becomes Man-of-the-Match.

SRH who was chasing the target achieved it in the last over thriller. This was both the team's 3rd match and after winning the 9th match, SRH becomes the team to successfully win all the three matches and top's the standard list.

While Dinesh Karthik's team KKR went on to bat against SRH, but unfortunately it had worst start by KKR losing the first wicket in the form of Robin Uthappa on 3 runs only. However, Chris Lynn and Nitish Rana handled the tough situation and took the score to 55 till Nitish Rana didn't lose his wicket. Dinesh Karthik took the responsibility and made 29 runs on 27 balls whether Chris Lynn got out on 49 runs. However, the bowling strategy of SRH was commendable. Where Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two crucial wickets of KKR, S Stanlake, Shakib Al Hasan snatched 2 wickets each making the KKR weaker. The KKR managed to set a target of 139 runs that was no difficulty for SRH to chase.

Wriddhiman Saha and Shikhar Dhawan did the batting opening for the team but Dhawan failed to safeguard his wicket and walked out only at 7 by 7. Saha gave a justified start along with team skipper Williamson, took the match towards victory. Well, after making 24 by 15 Saha was made to walk out by Sunil Naire. Williamson scored his fantastic 50 runs from 44 balls. Well. The bowler gave their best to snatch the victory from the jaw of defeat. The KKR's pace bowler Sunil Nair took 2 much-needed wickets of SRH.
