Players who can replace Virat Kohli in England Tour 2018, here are the names
Indian Skipper is most important player in the squad for England tour .The most disappointing part of the injury for his cricket fans is that Kohli might be miss some of the matches in parts or whole in upcoming England T20 and ODI series.
The 29 year old Indian Skipper hasthe been diagnosed with slipped disc and is likely to miss the planned County stint with Surrey. ICC confirmed that he will undergo a fitness test at the NCA in Bengaluru on June 15.
However, Indian skipper who is not part of the historic Test match against Afghanistan and missed one of the ODI games against South Africa this year due to a neck strain.Now Indian Cricket team is supposed to find the best replacement for the Virat Kohli who can balance the team under pressure.
Possible replacement for Kohli
Rishabh Pant : This young guy has been in consistence form so far in the IPL tournament this season. The 11th edition of the IPL is personally satisfying the Pant. He is second highest run scorer with 684 runs just one run behind the SRH skipper Kane Williamson. He is successful in getting the attention from the national selectors despite his team is at the last in the table.
Shreyas Iyer: The emerging talent is already the part of team in limited over format. Kohli's absence, he has golden chance to be part of test squad in England tour. When Kohli decide to take rest during SriLanka tour, Iyer was only the layer chosen by the selectors. However, he got chance in playing XI in that match.
KL Rahul : He has been part Indian squad of all formats but always a second choice for the Indian selectors after his couple of poor performance in all the formats of international cricket. KL Rahul is in terrific form in this IPL tournament.KL Rahul has a golden chance to mark in International Cricket.
Ambati Rayudu: He is in blistering form in all IPL tournament.Rayudu, 32, who last played an ODI in June 2016, has been in star for this IPL season , with 586 runs from 15 innings, at an average of 41.84 and a strike rate of 153.00.
