Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik sent his fans an ironic Christman greeting, at India’s cost, from his official twitter handle.

Shoaib has used an image of Pakistan’s 25th December, 2012 win over the men in blue in the first T20I International in Bangalore. The image displays his own delight and the then captain MS Dhoni’s distress at how the match ended.

It may be remembered that Shoaib hit a winning shot, a six, off Jadeja’s delivery in the last over of the game. "You are playing against India, pressure is always there, but you have to play according to the situation", he had then said at the presentation when asked whether one member of his family won't be happy. "I scored runs, obviously everyone will be happy."

“Merry Christmas dosto???? and a very happy 25th December”, wrote Shoaib in his tweet. Some Indian cricket enthusiasts have strongly reacted to Shoaib’s tweet. “Jani gharnijana?”, one of them stated, hinting that Sania Mirza wouldn’t allow him inside their house because of his way of wishing.

“Sania bhabhi won’t be happy after this pic shoaib bhai ????”, another fan said. On the other hand, Pakistani cricket fans were appreciative of the tweet. “Lol great choice of picture ????”, one replied. “Oh the Pun ??????????”, another tweeted.

“Uff what a six that was!! Game was getting away but then you finished it off:) My man!? yet another responded, thanking Shoaib Malik for the six and the victory the team achieved. However, not all Pakistani cricket fans were as appreciative.

“In poor taste; grace doesn’t allow that”, said one of Malik’s own compatriots. Wonder why Sania Mirza’s husband decided to do so. However, cricket fans in India were not shocked. It was in poor taste.
