Pakistan's newcomer Ahsan Ali reveals his favourite Indian cricketer

Pakistan’s new kid on the block Ahsan Ali has revealed that his favourite cricketer at the moment is Indian opener Rohit Sharma.

The 26-year-old’s revelation came in the wake of his inclusion in Pakistan squad for the three match T20I series against Bangladesh, which is scheduled to take place in Lahore, starting 24th January.


Ahsan, who is yet to make his international debut, has amassed 949 runs in 41 T20I matches, which is adorned by five hald centuries, at an average of 23.72 and a strike rate of 129.46.

“My favourite batsman is Rohit Sharma the Indian opener,” Ahsan was quoted as saying by PakPassion.

Following the Twenty20 series, Bangladesh will return to Pakistan to take part in one Test in Rawalpindi from February 7 to 11.

After the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Bangladesh will travel to Pakistan again and play a one-off ODI in Karachi on April 3.

They will then take part in the second Test in Karachi from April 5 to 9.
