Van Schoor, who complained of dizziness and asked for water during an ODI against South African side Orange Free-State, was immediately rushed to hospital after he collapsed.

"It is with deep regret and sorrow that I announce the passing of Raymond van Schoor," Cricket Namibia president Richard Frankle was quoted as saying by the Sydney Morning Herald.

According to the scan, Van Schoor had suffered a stroke.
