West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard who plays for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League was all praise for the Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya. Kieron feels that Hardik is a superstar because of the way he carries himself both on and off the field.

“I have seen him from when he started at Mumbai and I am not surprised. He has turned into an Indian superstar. The way he carries himself and the manner in which Hardik plays emulates how he is off the field and sometimes when you see guys like that, we as individuals who are very conservative tend to always have negative things to say,” Pollard said while speaking to IANS.

Speaking on Hardik’s infamous Koffee with Karan saga, Pollard said, “He has gone through a lot in his little time, but he can only get better from here. He puts in a lot of hard work. I am not overly surprised at what he is doing at this point in time.”

Hardik was suspended by the BCCI for his misogynist comment on the TV show but he made an exceptional comeback. Hardik scored 402 runs from 15 innings and also took 14 wickets to help Mumbai Indians lift their record fourth title in 2019.

Hardik is not part of the Indian team that is currently touring the Caribbean. Hardik will make his international comeback in the home tour against South Africa.
