Mahendra Singh Dhoni missed out the last game game against Mumbai Indians and might not play tonight’s game against Delhi Capitals. MS Dhoni is ‘pretty sick’ said Chennai Super Kings’ coach Stephen Fleming.

Fleming further added that the decision of playing MS Dhoni against Delhi Capitals will be taken before the toss. Dhoni is recovering from sickness which struck him last week. He is progressing, which is good, Fleming told reporters.

“We had a couple of changes forced upon us in the last game, but the performance was not due to the fact that we had made those changes. We are more comfortable going into this game. We have been pretty good, from success-wise, here at Chepauk,” said former New Zealand captain.

Dhoni missed out on two occasions for Chennai Super Kings this season and both of them they lost. Dhoni not playing will be a bad news for Chennai and its fans.

The match between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals will be the match against top two teams who have already qualified for the play-offs. Both CSK and Delhi have played 12 matches so far and have 16 points to their name.

Chennai Super Kings have won three titles under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. One of the most successful teams in the Indian Premier League are defending champion and will look to lift the trophy for the fourth time.
