MS Dhoni gifts wife Sakshi vintage car on 11th wedding anniversary
Former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his other half Sakshi commemorated their 11th wedding anniversary earlier this month. Sakshi also revealed that MS Dhoni had gifted her a vintage Volkswagen Beetle on an occasion.
"Thank you for the anniversary gift," said Sakshi in her caption. The couple celebrated their anniversary on 4th July.
The former Indian skipper’s love for automobiles is known to everybody and he has a huge collection of cars and bikes.
The World Cup winning skipper was last seen on the cricket field leading the Chennai Super Kings in the 2021 Indian Premier League. The CSK was unable to make it to the playoffs for the first time in IPL history in 2020.
CSK were second on the league table which included five wins in seven games and at a run rate of +1.263, which was without doubt the best in the competition. However, IPL had to be deferred halfway through the league stage when its bio-bubbles breached in the midst of the lethal second wave of Covid in India.
The IPL is now anticipated to restart in the UAE in September-October.
Captain cool had announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020. His last game for the men in blue was the World Cup 2020 semi-final against the black caps.
