India is looking in a really bad position in their semi-final game against New Zealand. India lost their top three batsmen for just five runs. The powerful trio of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were dismissed for one run each.

But there is an interesting trivia about team India which Indian fans may not like. The last time India lost Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma for a single-digit score, the men in blue lost the match. It was in 2017 Champions Trophy final which Pakistan won by a massive margin of 180 runs.

In the match, Rohit Sharma was dismissed for a duck while Indian skipper Virat Kohli lost his wicket for just five runs.

As far as today’s match is concerned, Indian bowler’s restricted New Zealand just under 240 runs after the play resumed today as yesterday was a wash-out. Indian batsmen couldn’t withstand the lethal pace attack of New Zealand as they lost 4 early wickets.

Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya are on the crease for India at the time of publishing this story. India still got 200 runs to chase and MS Dhoni is the only proper batsman left. Ravindra Jadeja and Bhuveneshwar Kumar are the other players who can bat a little. India’s hope to reach the World Cup final lies on these players now.
