Lagaan memes flood Twitter as India prepares for semi final clash vs England

In the second semi-final clash of the T20 World Cup 2022, Team India will lock horns against England to secure a place for the World Cup final set to take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.

Although the semi-final will take place on November 10, people are already taking to Twitter to show their enthusiasm for the much anticipated clash. In the midst of various tweets, memes are also flooding the microblogging site, especially the Lagaan-related posts.


Just like this tweet posted by Netflix India where they said that India securing a spot at the semi-final is reminding them of the movie Lagaan. “The team made it to the semi-finals. Lagaan remake coming this Thursday! #INDvENG,” they wrote.
