KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya took off their shirts after the match and the reason will raise their respect in your eyes

The match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab, played at the Wankhede Stadium was one of the most crucial ones and Mumbai thrashed KXIP by 3 runs.

Batting first, Mumbai Indians posted a challenging total of 187 runs for 8 wickets. Chasing 187 to win, Rahul blasted 10 fours and three sixes in his 60-ball 94-run innings and shared a 111-run second wicket partnership with Aaron Finch (46) taking his team almost to the brink of winning the match. Kings XI were comfortably placed at 145/1 in 16 overs when Bumrah came back to bowl his second spell and the Mumbaikar removed Finch and Marcus Stoinis (1) before dismissing Rahul in the 19th over.

The Kings XI Punjab lost the match but KL Rahul won the hearts with his incredible knock and took his team to almost the victory but could not convert it into a win. It was not the first instance when Kl Rahul played brilliantly but could not help his team win the match.

The match was an interesting affair and everybody enjoyed every bit of it but there was something very unique about this match. The top performers from both the sides, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul exchanged their shirts post-match in order to express their gratitude and respect for each other. While this tradition goes back to the football games but it is for the first time that any such thing has been witnessed in cricket.
